TUNREH the Provider controls hunting, farming, fishing, mining, harvesting, gathering etc. His story is key to his role in the society.
After the great fire, very few creatures from the old world survived. The landscape was undescribable, but one creature that was able to survive the worldwide nuclear war was the cockroach. They enhabited the bare, scorched earth, exracting whatever they could find.
One particular roach, DEGER, was bigger than the rest and managed to extract more food and water from the destruction. But, Deger was selfish and greedy, refusing to share with the remainder of her kind. As she grew bigger and stronger, her kind grew weaker, until eventually they all died. Deger felt no compassion and continued to gorge herself until she could eat no more.
Just before she died, she gave birth to a single child, TUNREH, and then exploded, throwing seeds and minerals and water across the land. These seeds would grow in time to form the new world. Tunreh, seeing the bodies of his mother and all of his kind decaying in the dust, realised what must be done: Everything must be shared equally between everyone.
The TRIAD is based on very simple concepts.
Each cast of society plays its own part and everything is shared equally between the entire population. However, there is strictly no mixing between casts; this will result in Olof. Whenever they are not working each cast must eat, sleep, socialise etc in there own area of the kingdom to avoid temptations.
Every month each cast must make a sacrifice to PHIL??; failure to do so will result in Olof.
Other crimes such as murder, robbery and gambling result in Olof; they all work against the principle of balance.
Anyone found to be questioning the laws of the TRIAD will become Olof.
The TRIAD does not evolve or advance, it preserves. The technology remains basic and time consuming but functional. The population stays at a constant level. The armies never advance or attack, only protect. All of these factors help to preserve our society and the environment we inhabit. We have all we need, why should we strive for more!?
